I discovered this website about a year ago, and recently began reviewing products for them. Anyone can review products. You can even review them anonymously. Normally, there are no perks for reviewing things, and you just go up the ladder and earn "badges." However, every month or two, they have specials like this where they will give reviewers a "prize/gift" for completing a certain number of reviews.

This may be a good time to write about what you think of some of your holiday gifts! Viewpoints is offering a $10 Amazon Gift Card when you write 10 qualifying reviews through December 31, 2010.
Qualifying reviews must:

• be written between December 27th and December 31st, 2010.

• be at least 1 full paragraph long (900 characters).

• fall within these categories:  Home & Garden, Family & Pets, Health & Beauty, Kitchen (excluding grocery items), Computers and Electronics.

• be about real products; inappropriate, copied or bogus content will be removed.

Just like the other websites who give out Amazon gift certificates, they do so by emailing you an amazon "Gift Code" approximately two weeks after the end of the promotion. You can then use the $10 immediately on Amazon.com! Enjoy, everyone. :)

Home Depot - The Home Depot(R) is offering all active duty personnel, reservists, retired military, veterans and their families a 10 percent discount off their purchases in honor of Veteran’s Day. The offer is valid on purchases of up to $2,000 for a maximum of $200 and is available at The Home Depot stores, The Home Depot Design Center locations, Yardbirds and EXPO Design Center(R) locations. The 10% discount is available everyday for active duty and retirees, but not veterans. Home Depot makes this offer available to all veterans on most military holidays.

Lowes - Lowe’s Companies, Inc. will offer all active, reserve, honorably discharged, retired military personnel and their immediate family members a 10 percent discount on in-store U.S. purchases made during the Veterans Day holiday. The discount is available Nov. 6 – Nov. 11. The discount is available on in-stock and special order purchases up to $5,000. To qualify, individuals must present a valid military ID or other proof of service. Excluded from the discount are sales via Lowes.com, previous sales, and purchases of services or gift cards. Like Home Depot, Lowes offers this discount daily to active duty military members, but not to veterans. However, they extend the offer to military veterans on military holidays.

Participating in surveys online is one of the easiest ways to make a little extra cash for the holidays (or just because you deserve a little something special from time to time!) Here are the companies I am currently using:

Complete surveys to earn CASH (Checks are sent to your home within 4-8 weeks.) Once you reach 50 points ($5 dollars), you're allowed to request a check. (You can wait and rack up even more and request a check later if you want to.) It does take a bit of time to complete the Profile surveys, but it's SO worth it because the more information they have on you, the more chances you'll have to participate in more surveys!

This is my favorite of all the ways to earn prizes! They have so many ways to earn points (Doing web searches, watching short video clips, completing surves, referring friends, etc.) In the few shorts months that I've used Swagbucks, I've earned enough points to exchange for $90 Amazon.com gift certificates!! I'm using the money to supplement my Christmas Shopping Fund! I can't wait for Black Friday!! :)
